Haiku: Rams Head High

Tonight I attended a poetry book launch and open mic session hosted by Raundi Moore-Kondo (http://www.theloveofwords.com/raundi.html). As part of the event, I received a randomly-selected “animal poet guide”: a bighorn sheep, male, AKA a ram. My assignment: write a haiku by the end of the event. Here it be:

Rams Head High

Curved-horn collision:
God’s silence interrupted
as thunder-skulls crack

Thanks for the cool prompt, Raundi!
