On Leadership: Your employee missed expectations? I blame you.

OK, it’s more about management than leadership. I wrote “Your employee missed expectations. I blame you” originally on LinkedIn to remind managers that a missed expectation might not be 100% the employee’s fault. We all jump to conclusions, but it’s best to stop and investigate before jumping on the employee.
